Havana Club Puerto Rican, a Bacardi rum brand, has introduced a dark rum variant called Havana Club Añejo Clásico in the US.

Besides, the brand has refreshed the packaging of exisiting Havana Club Añejo Blanco and launched a new brand campaign, called The Golden Age, Aged Well.

Havana Club Añejo Clásico was first launched in Florida. The two rums will be rolled out in the states of Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas in July and August. In the remaining states, the drinks will launched in September.

Havana Club rum is based on the original recipe created by the Arechabala family in Cuba in 1934.

Havana Club Añejo Blanco carries a suggested retail price of $19.99 and Havana Club Añejo Clásico for $21.99.
