UK-based gluten-free beer maker Bellfield Brewery has secured listing with Aldi for its products Lawless Village IPA and Bohemian Pilsner.

Produced using malts from crisp and fawcetts, hops, and yeasts, the products will be sold across 75 Aldi stores in Scotland.

With 4.5% alcohol by volume (ABV), Bohemian Pilsner is a classic Czech pilsner that offers a bitter and gentle floral tone from Saaz hops.

Lawless Village is an india pale ale (IPA) that contains 4.5% ABV. This aromatic beer is brewed as a traditional American IPA made with pale and crystal malts, with cascade and centennial American hops.

Both beers contain 1.5 units of alcohol per 330ml bottle.

"After securing this new deal, the Edinburgh-based brewery is reported to have significantly increased its production capacity."

Bellfield Brewery business development manager and brewer Kieran Middleton said: “As a young company we are so proud to have this opportunity to supply one of the UK’s leading retailers.

“Aldi has supported us since we launched, listing our beers in their bi-annual beer festivals but this permanent listing gives us a great opportunity to bring our beers to more shoppers in Scotland.”

Established in 2016, Bellfield is planning for a business expansion and has raised more than £430,000 to fund its expansion.
