Arlon Group has acquired a minority stake in CBL Alimentos.

Arlon Group's Bruno Martins Silva will join CBL Alimentos' board of directors as a representative.

Based in the US, Arlon is an investment holding firm, whereas CBL Alimentos is a dairy company based in Brazil.

"Stock Spirits Group is set to acquire a 25% equity stake in Quintessential Brands Ireland Whiskey."

Stock Spirits Group is set to acquire a 25% equity stake in Quintessential Brands Ireland Whiskey for a cash consideration of €18.3m ($20.99m), including €15m ($17.2m) of initial cash payment.

Following the cash payment, the remaining amount will be provided by deferred payment over a five-year period.

Both the companies involved in the transaction are based in the UK.
