Califia Farms launches shelf-stable Nitro Draft Lattes

Plant-based beverage maker Califia Farms has expanded its portfolio with the launch of shelf-stable Nitro Draft Lattes with Oatmilk in a can.

Nitro Draft Lattes will be available in Black & White, XX Espresso, Salted Caramel and Mocha flavours.

Califia claims that all its products are non-GMO, kosher and vegan and are produced using allergen-friendly, gluten-free Oatmilk.

Furthermore, the latte range is free of nuts, allergens, soy, gluten, carrageenan, BPA, dairy and preservatives.

Califia Farms Coffee general manager Brian Lovejoy said: “Direct Trade means that we pay as much attention to the quality of the beans as to the socioeconomic impact when sourcing them. It not only results in richer, better-tasting coffee but also in strong supplier partnerships that benefit everyone.

“We combine these premium beans with our new Oatmilk, a delicious partner for coffee, which froths beautifully. The product is made even creamier with the nitrogen widget technology, resulting in a unique cold brew experience that keeps you ‘feel good’ energised all day.”

The range will join Califia’s line-up of non-dairy Cold Brew Coffees with Almondmilk and Coconut Cream.

Initially, Nitro Draft Lattes will be available for purchase on the company’s website, Amazon.com and in core US markets.

The company intends to expand product availability across new markets later this year.

In January, Califia Farms announced a new oat milk line to strengthen its presence in the US craft beverage market.

The Oat Barista Blend and Unsweetened Oatmilk products join Califia Farms’ Original and Unsweetened Almondmilk blends.
