Budweiser has extended its summer packaging lineup to include US state themed bottles and cans inspired by the company's 12 breweries across the country.

Budweiser’s new packaging will be specific to California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, and Virginia.

Budweiser's vice-president Ricardo Marques said: "Our new state bottles and cans celebrate the homes of our breweries and the communities that support them.

"Our new state bottles and cans celebrate the homes of our breweries and the communities that support them."

"Since 1876, Budweiser has been proudly brewed across the US, and this summer, we're inviting local consumers to raise a cold one with us."

The new bottles and cans will be available for a limited time period from July to September this year. Each design has its own custom image and copy inspired by each state.

Budweiser's company name usually featured on the cans and bottles have been replaced with a state name, while the center medallion ‘AB’ monogram has been updated with state's initials. In addition, the ‘King of Beers’ phrase is swapped to include each individual state motto and the Anheuser-Busch is replaced with each state's nickname.
