UK-based craft brewery Camden Town Brewery is set to launch its flagship beer, Hells, in New York City, the US, as a part of its expansion plan.

Hells' beers will be available at the city's bars and restaurants, such as The Fat Radish, Sons of Essex and The Spotted Pig.

Brewing company Anheuser-Busch InBev has acquired Camden Town Brewery for around £85m.

"We've always been inspired by New York it's a buzzing city filled with incredible places to eat and drink."

AB InBev investment into the firm resulted in funds for its launch into several markets as well as a new brewery in Enfield, north-east London.

Set to open in 2017, the firm expects its new brewery to expand its production capacity and create new job opportunities.

Camden Town Brewery founder and chief executive officer Jasper Cuppaidge said: "We've always been inspired by New York it's a buzzing city filled with incredible places to eat and drink, so it felt like the right place to launch Camden into the US.

"We're introducing our Camden Hells lager into around 40 New York initially but have big plans for further launches across the US and beyond.

"It's a killer British lager, which we think drinkers across the world will love."

The firm will be expanding into Paris in early 2017 with plans for further expansion into other markets.

Founded in 2007, the firm's portfolio includes seven beers and several limited edition beers launched each year as well as three North London bars.
