Core-Mark Holding Company has announced that it will take over all the assets of Pine State Convenience, to enhance its market presence.

Through the acquisition, Pine State Convenience, which is a part of Pine State Trading Company, will have an opportunity to provide a new range of products to its customers, along with improving exposure to marketing programmes.

The deal includes a consideration of $112m, which will be funded through cash on hand, as well as borrowings.

Core-Mark Holding Company provides fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the retail industry, and offers marketing programmes throughout the US, whereas Pine State Convenience is a marketer and distributor of beverage products.

Upham Group, owner of several pubs and inns located across the south eastern coast of the UK, plans to raise $17.28m by offering its shares in an initial public offering (IPO), the proceeds of which will be used for investing in future acquisitions.

Astra Dairy Farms plans to secure Series A funding from several interested investors. The proceeds will be used to expand its business in the southern part of India.

The company deals with providing farm fresh milk in south India.

Integrated Beverage Group, a wine producing company based in Colorado, US, has received funding from Juggernaut Capital Partners LP, an American private equity firm.

Kulczyk Investments has disposed 24 million shares at a price of £1bn ($1.45bn). The transaction represented a value of £41.8 ($60.42) per share, and a 1.5% stake of the issued share capital of SABMiller.

Kulczyk Investments is an international investment company headquartered in Luxembourg, while SABMiller is a brewing company and a major bottler of Coca-Cola.
