Magners

PJ Gallagher’s Irish Pub Leichhardt (PJ Gallaghers pub), an Irish décor pub in New South Wales, Australia, has been sold to a private investor by its current owner and operator Gallagher Hotel Management, for $10.55m.

Pact Group Holdings intends to further grow its business in the field of crate pooling and hire by taking over Fruit Case Company (FCC) from its current owners Turners & Growers (T&G Global) for $14.55m.

The deal, expected to be completed by July this year, includes acquisition of all assets, brands and trademarks of the target company.

While Australian company Pact Group manufactures rigid plastics packaging, Turners & Growers produces agricultural products.
FCC is involved in providing crate, bin and pallet hire equipment in New Zealand.

C&C Group has entered a strategic partnership with InterBev (Singapore) by signing a distribution partnership with the company for further growth of its Irish cider brand Magners.

As per the agreement, beginning in September, InterBev will be responsible for distributing the cider brand in Singapore.

For the sale and distribution of cider, the Singapore-based beverage company will also seek help from its business partner F&N Foods.

Both InterBev and F&N Foods are part of Thailand’s biggest beverage company, ThaiBev. C&C Group produces and markets alcoholic drinks, based in the UK and Ireland, whereas F&N Foods is a food and beverage company.
