US-based exporter of California wines Delicato Family Vineyards has partnered with ASC Fine Wines, a distributor of fine wines in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau for distribution of Delicato brands including Gnarly Head, Delicato Family Vineyards and Irony.

The company will be part of ASC Fine Wine's distribution portfolio. ASC has been distributing and selling wine in Chinese markets for more than 14 years.

Delicato Family Vineyards vice president and general manager international David DeBoer said: "With more than 90 years' experience in the premier winegrowing regions of California, Delicato Family Vineyards is proud to offer a strong portfolio of core brands to ASC Fine Wines.

"With its position as a leading wine importer in China with 20 years' experience in this ever-changing market, we are excited about expanding our market presence and driving key brand-building initiatives that ultimately will see our fine wines in even more restaurants and homes of Chinese consumers."

ASC Fine Wines has also committed to distribute and sale through e-commerce, via its partnership with Alibaba's Tmall.com, an online store in China.
