Dr peppers Consulting Agreement

Constellation Brands has agreed to purchase The Prisoner Wine Company’s portfolio of brands from Huneeus Vintners for approximately $285m payable in cash.

The deal will include Prisoner, Saldo, Cuttings, Blindfold and Thorn brands.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of April, following which a winemaking consulting agreement will be maintained by Constellation Brands and Huneeus Vintners with The Prisoner Wine.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group (DPS) has acquired an additional 3.8% stake in BA Sports Nutrition, through an equity investment of $6m.

After the acquisition, DSP will own a total stake of 15.5% in BA Sports Nutrition, becoming the second largest equity holder of the company.

Hawthorn Leisure plans to buy 11 pubs from JD Wetherspoon, a pub chain operating in UK and Ireland.
