US-based pisco distiller Pisco Portón has launched a new expression of the spirit, called La Caravedo Torontel.

La Caravedo Torontel was developed at the company's Hacienda La Caravedo distillery by its master distiller Johnny Schuler.

The newest expression is a pisco puro made from a single varietal of the eight grape varietals authorised by Peruvian law.

Made in Hacienda La Caravedo's original falca stills, it contains 8lb of grapes in every bottle.

"All of the piscos that we produce provide their own unique impact in a cocktail."

Pisco Portón president Brent Kallop said: "All of the piscos that we produce provide their own unique impact in a cocktail and all have been recognised with exceptional awards."

Pisco Portón master distiller Johnny Schuler said: "La Caravedo Torontel's versatility and notes of rose, gardenia, and violet bring a unique and exciting flavour to any cocktail."

La Caravedo Torontel is currently available across the US at a suggested retail price of $32.99 for 750ml.
