Mumm Napa, a California-based sparkling wine house owned by Pernod Ricard USA, has teamed up with San Francisco Giants, a franchisee of Major League Baseball, to develop two new Napa Valley sparkling wines.

The two wines are Championship Brut and San Francisco Giants Brut Prestige.

Championship Brut is a super-premium limited-edition release with only 2,012 bottles produced by the company.

The wine is produced from grapes sourced from the winery’s best vineyards in Napa Valley.

The Giants Brut Prestige is a wine derived from special bottling of the winery’s premium Napa Valley sparkling wine, Brut Prestige.

It will be available frequently throughout the baseball season and is currently available at AT&T Park, select restaurants, bars and retailers, and online at sfgiants.com/wine.

Giants business operations senior vice president Mario Alioto said the franchisee has selected Mumm Napa sparkling wine for both their 2010 and 2012 World Series Championships.

"We are pleased to extend this relationship with Mumm Napa to our fans in 2013, with the creation of these unique Giants wines," Alioto added.

While the Championship Brut will be retailed for $125, San Francisco Giants Brut will be sold for $27.

Under the partnership, Mumm Napa wines will be featured at tasting events during select games and at special events throughout the season and during team celebrations, whereas each of the Giants players will receive a bottle of Championship Brut with label featuring their name and number.

Both the new super-premium sparkling wines are licensed by Wine by Design, the official wine licensee for Major League Baseball Properties.
